Tegkang tells the story of Hanafi, a young and ambitious photographer yearning for creative inspiration. His journey takes him to the remote and picturesque village of Bario, a place steeped in beauty, tradition, and mystery. While exploring the serene landscapes, he meets Rinai, a cheerful and spirited young woman who is cherished by the villagers. Her kindness and infectious energy quickly draw Hanafi in, sparking a friendship that changes both their lives.

As Hanafi becomes more integrated into the community, he meets Rinai’s close-knit circle: Guruq, a wise and protective figure who has taken on the role of her guardian; Ritap, boisterous and outspoken whose fierce protectiveness of Rinai sometimes borders on overbearing; and Sina Runa, a nurturing and motherly presence who welcomes Hanafi with open arms. Though Sina Runa enjoys Hanafi’s company, Guruq grows increasingly wary of his intentions, especially as Hanafi and Rinai’s bond deepens.
